CHC Signs the World Economic Forum’s Zero Health Gaps Pledge

Did you know that health inequities cost the United States $320 billion annually? Similarly, in Europe, they cost an estimated 1.4% of the European Union’s annual GDP. That’s why CHC: Creating Healthier Communities is proud to announce that we have signed the World Economic Forum’s Zero Health Gaps Pledge, the world’s first global, multi-sector health equity pledge.

Every organization has a role to play in generating equitable health and wellbeing. CHC’s focus is health equity, addressing underlying issues and removing barriers so everyone can thrive. Our work is driven by community need, and we direct programs, resources and support where they have the greatest impact.

To further our health equity work, we have joined over 40 organizations to sign the  Zero Health Gaps Pledge. Business, governments and civil society need to work together to create a healthier, more equitable world for all. The pledge includes 10 commitments that we have made to advance health equity across our core operations, strategies and investments.
