CHC Advancing Health Equity Through Cancer Prevention

The Vaccination Equity Initiative focuses on removing barriers to HPV vaccination access and cervical cancer prevention for underserved populations in Georgia. Through community-driven solutions, CHC has formed partnerships with local organizations to increase education, awareness, and access.

Core Strategies

The Vaccination Equity Initiative focuses on addressing critical barriers to HPV vaccination and cervical cancer prevention through two core strategies.

  1. Builds demand for HPV primary prevention by enhancing community awareness, receptivity, and utilization of vaccination and educational efforts. This involves empowering communities with culturally tailored messaging and accessible outreach
  2. Fostering care linkages by collaborating with organizations addressing social determinants of health, such as transportation, housing, and education. This holistic approach ensures equitable access to HPV prevention resources and strengthens community health infrastructure.
