Two Simple Changes Increase Echo Employee Giving

This past year, Echo Global Logistics, a third party logistics and transportation management company based in Chicago, made two meaningful improvements to their annual Echo Gives campaign: allowing employees to give to any registered 501(C)(3) nonprofit and increasing their employee match. Echo promoted nonprofits focused on diversity and inclusion, plus CHC nonprofit partners, and also used CHC’s Purpose Platform advanced search feature, syncing with the Candid/Guidestar database to broaden employee choice. This simple change netted an increase of more than $7,000 in employee pledges! Previously, the company matched giving up to $20,000; however, due to an outpouring of employee giving, Echo did not hesitate to match all employee gifts, increasing their match – and increasing impact nationwide.
