CHC CEO Speaks at Annual Department of Commerce Interagency Convening on Equitable Economic Growth

On Tuesday, November 28th, CHC President and CEO Jean Accius joined esteemed professionals and government officials at the 3rd Annual Department of Commerce Interagency Convening on Equitable Economic Growth. The event’s keynote speaker was Janice Bryant Howroyd, the CEO and founder of the largest minority and women-owned Human Resources firm in the nation. In an Executive Leadership & Organizational Strategy Roundtable panel discussion moderated by Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves, alongside government, corporate, and nonprofit leaders in diversity and equity, Jean spoke about CHC and its role in addressing the challenges to equity and the barriers to a longer healthier life. Inequities stifle economic opportunities for communities. We all should be outraged by these disparities and the impact they have on all of us, and impact they have on the strength and health of our communities and economy.
