Facts & Information

What does it mean to be a Lead Coordinator?

Serving as a Lead Coordinator is a meaningful way to support Colorado communities while growing your professional skills. Some departments have a team of volunteers rather than a single coordinator, which can be especially helpful for larger departments.

As a Lead Coordinator, you will:

  • Share information about the CCC and the benefits of pledging

  • Send regular updates such as weekly emails on your department’s progress

  • Create fun and motivating activities like nonprofit fairs, chili cook-offs, contests, or presentations at staff meetings.

  • Remind your team about key deadlines so everyone has a chance to give

  • Show passion for strengthening Colorado’s communities and supporting hundreds of charities statewide

Not sure who your department’s Lead Coordinator is? Interested in helping? Contact ccc@chcimpact.org to connect or build a team.

Important Dates for the 2026 Colorado Combined Campaign

  • TBD in 2026

After the Campaign

Once the campaign closes, CHC verifies pledges, disburses funds to charities, and ensures payroll departments begin recurring payroll donations in January.

Employees can continue to pledge nearly year-round after the official campaign ends. This is especially helpful for new hires or employees who want to increase their giving. Payroll contributions made outside the pledge drive will continue through December of that year.

Seed Money Application

Departments can apply for $100 in seed money to boost participation in the 2025 Colorado Combined Campaign (CCC). These funds are designed to help you promote your department’s campaign and encourage donations.

You can use the seed money for a variety of creative efforts, including:

  • Supplies for a Chili Cook-off, Bake-off, or other food-related events
  • Purchasing prizes for raffles or drawings
  • Using the gift card itself as a prize (note: may have tax implications)
  • Buying items for a silent auction
  • Designing and purchasing department-specific swag
  • Or any other idea that helps build excitement and engagement around CCC

Use your imagination—the goal is to make your campaign fun, engaging, and successful!
