Black Birthing Initiative Needs Assessment
Supported by Elevance Health Foundation

Listening and Lifting Voices
CHC’s Black Birthing Initiative is building the foundation for scalable Black maternal health programs in Atlanta, Cleveland & Detroit.
Share your experiences to help inform future maternal health programs, services, and informed non-clinical standards of care for Black women and birthing people.
The Black Birthing Initiative aims to reduce preterm birth incident rates within Black communities. Through the Needs Assessment, CHC will survey 4,8000 Black women and birthing people to learn about the impact social determinants of health needs, racism, and stress on their pregnancy experiences.
Here’s how you can get involved:
1️. Complete the Survey: Share your experience to be entered in a drawing to win a gift card.
2️. Spread the Word: Help us reach Black pregnant and postpartum women and birthing people by sharing the survey
