5 Ways to Give for #GivingTuesday for Brands and Businesses

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement founded in 2012 as a simple idea – a day to encourage people to do good. This idea has grown to inspire hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

This year’s #GivingTuesday will be celebrated on November 29.

Although nonprofits have an exceptionally strong presence on GivingTuesday, businesses and brands don’t need to be left behind. GivingTuesday participation can rally employees meaningfully, connecting your team and organization with the greater community. It’s not too late to plan your activities!

Participate in a way that works for you and your team.

There’s still time to get creative this year. Some ideas include creating incentives for employees to give and volunteer, showing gratitude for employees on social media, and surprising essential workers with gift baskets.

1.) Give your voice.

Raise awareness of the cause that matters to you, like veterans, children, health equity, or disaster relief.
